TalkTalk Digital Heroes Award for under 18′s

For this year’s TalkTalk Digital Heroes Awards, Martha Lane Fox will announce the winner of a new Under 18 award in the ceremony slot that been used in previous years for the Race Online 2012 Award. The award is open to anyone under the age of 18, from anywhere in the country, and is separate from the overall winner and the regional Heroes.
The winner of this category will get £4,000 for a charity of their choice (excluding fee-paying schools), and a MacBook Air. All funded by TalkTalk (and if they like we can send the winner the cheque to hand over to the charity). Nominations will open, for both the usual and Under 18 category, on the website http://www.talktalk.co.uk/digitalheroes/ from 8th August. As before, it’s the only route for nominations.
