A good example of cross-project collaboration

Lorraine Noble, Project Coordinator from Kirklees, spent a day with Kerry Goodenough, Project Coordinator in Caerphilly, to share ideas and best practice around project delivery and capacity building. The pair visited St Margaret’s Court, a sheltered housing scheme in Caerphilly managed by the Wales and West Housing Association, which was hosting week three of a general Internet awareness course.
The group has been looking at email (including email attachments), online shopping and Skype. One learner did her first online purchase last week when she ordered some clothes for her granddaughter.
During the session, Lorraine and Kerry Skyped one of Lorraine’s tutors’ sessions back at a sheltered housing scheme in Kirklees.
Kerry said: “It was great to spend some time with Lorraine to get her thoughts and ideas about running sessions and engaging with learners.”
