Intergenerational event at Lewis Boys School
Published: Oct 5th, 2012 |
Citizens Online participated in an intergenerational event at Lewis Boys School in Caerphilly, where Project Coordinator Kerry has already been running some Internet taster sessions for older members of the community.
Sarah Rochira, the Older Persons Commissioner for Wales, took some time to visit our stand and talked about how important digital inclusion is to older people, how it helps them get connected with family and friends and how it helps them with some of life’s practical challenges.

There was a real buzz in the hall and Kerry talked to lots of people about the benefits of being online, some of whom have signed up for the next Internet taster session. Check out the video to see how we are already changing lives in Caerphilly.
