Kerry Bradshaw and apprentice Pete Britten attended the Digital Unite Spring Online Awards Ceremony this month and scooped a runner-up prize for their ipads at the Cinema event.
In May 2013 as part of Digital Unite’s Spring Online Week, Kerry and the team in Bristol ran an iPad event at the local cinema to engage with cinema goers about technology. The Citizens Online team went along to a silver screening at their local Odeon cinema armed with loaned iPads and laptops to show older people how easy and useful digital technology can be. As a result, Kerry’s team was nominated by Digital Unite for the Best Event Award and received a Sony Tablet as a nominee.
Three organisations were shortlisted for the Spring Online Best Event Awards 2013 and the Awards Ceremony was held in London on 11 June 2013 as part of the national digital conference, ND13.
