Citizens Online publishes final Get IT Together report

Citizens Online has published the final Get IT Together report.
The report highlights the successes of the programme and includes a comprehensive evaluation of the benefits of being online for individuals – for example, finding employment; reducing social isolation and having more confidence.
The programme has been structured to ensure there is a lasting legacy in local communities, and at a wider level. We have seen that it is already informing future strategies, helping those who are most disadvantaged get the access, skills and confidence they need to realise the benefits of the Internet.
As part evaluation process, a Social Return On Investment (SROI) analysis has been produced in partnership with Just Economics, using Get IT Together’s longitudinal study data. This tool kit has been made available to everyone who would like to evaluate their digital skills activities and is part of the programme’s legacy to the sector.
