In order to make this site accessible to as many people as possible it has been built to certain web standards to ensure that people with disabilities find this website easy to use. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has published Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) that help web developers make sites accessible. This site has been built and tested to meet WCAG 2.0 AA standard.
Decorative images on the site may not have alternative text, but only if they do not carry any useful information, or duplicate nearby written text.
User tip: Each page starts with navigation, but there is a skip link at the top of each page that will take you to the main content.
Spam protection/captcha decision
We are not using any CAPTCHAS on the site. On the various forms – e.g., on the Contact Us form, we have included a security question in the form of a simple maths question. These appear randomly, which helps to weed out machine generated submissions.
Jump to/skip links
Skip links help users who prefer to use tabbed browsing to navigate the page more quickly; ours are placed visibly at the top of the site.
