StartHere is a national charity which works with public and voluntary sector organisations to improve access to information and services, especially for socially disadvantaged and digitally excluded groups. StartHere provides a technology-based information service, also called StartHere, that acts as a single starting point from where people can access the information and services they need in times of crisis or distress. StartHere touch screen kiosks are internet enabled kiosks which have basic push buttons and an easy to read screen to bring local information to local residents who do not have access to the internet.
