Gary has a background in Fine Arts and Education. He began his career in community related ICT after completing his Masters Degree in Digital Arts at Middlesex University.

Working in West London for four years he ran a community based project which enabled socially excluded groups and individuals to access the Internet and new technologies.

Previous to joining Citizens Online Gary had been working in Cornwall for several years as a teacher and also freelance consultant for the Countryside Agency. In this role he advised community led groups on their IT and Media related funding applications.

In his spare time Gary enjoys watching films, listening to music, visiting art galleries and walking the Cornish coastline.
