Research Study

What is the research study?

We are carrying out research to understand more about the way people use the internet. Our study will follow people who have completed computer training and speak to them over a two year period to ask about their internet usage. We will telephone or email people, depending on their preference, at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years after they complete the training. We will ask the same questions each time so that we can observe any changes over the months and years.

How can I take part?Exit Questionnaire

When you start a computer session with us we will ask you to complete an Entry Questionnaire. When you have completed a number of computer sessions, we will ask you to complete an Exit Questionnaire. Please let us know the best way to contact you – by phone or email. We will then contact you 3 months later to ask the first set of questions. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

What will the results be used for?

The results will be used to measure the success of the training and provide a better understanding of the way people use the internet. When the study has been completed the results will be published here.
