New bilingual e-learning course helps people get online

Citizens Online is delighted to announce that its project, Digital Gwynedd, has supported the Welsh translation of an accredited training course to better help frontline staff in Wales support customers with digital skills.

The course, ‘Using your role to help customers get online’ explores how frontline members of staff can identify a person’s digital skill requirement, and then teaches light touch ways of engaging them in digital participation.
As a member of the Digital Champions Network, Digital Gwynedd facilitated the Welsh translation of the course with Digital Unite and with funding

We’ve been looking at the whole area of accessibility: what it means, who it’s for, how designers and managers can ensure their products are accessible, and what the latest trends are.
