We’re really excited to launch our research report into digital exclusion in population screening programmes in England. We were asked by Public Health England to undertake an in depth assessment of changes to the way the service is likely to communicate in future. People of all ages may experience digital inequality, but older people are more likely to be in this group. They are also at higher risk of being affected by the Coronavirus and being additionally socially isolated. This means they are more likely to be cut off from essential support without skills, confidence and access to online help.
